Ms. Genevieve Taylor was born April 24, 1956 to Archie L. Taylor and Orangelene Stevenson-Taylor.

She departed her life on June 24, 2023.

She confessed Christ at an early age and joined the Drake Hill United Methodist Church.

She is preceded in death by her father, Archie Lee Taylor, Sr.; mother, Orangelene Taylor; life companion, Robert Longstreet; brothers, Hozie Taylor, Ben Taylor, Anderson Taylor and Earnest Little; sisters, Betty Jean Taylor and Bobbie Jean Grassiree; grandson, Desmond Green.

She is survived by her children: Dacron (Faith) Taylor and Debra (Ryan) Green; brothers, Archie Taylor Jr., Arthur Taylor, Avery Taylor, Alex Taylor and Lester Taylor; sister, Earnestine Robinson;  grandchildren, Tamra Taylor, Damarius Taylor, Lia Green, Kelsi Hostetler and Shenaye Hostetler; a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
