Geraldine Rosetta Griffin, known as "Jheri" was born to the parents of Tyrome Hollomon and Marion Griffin on July 6, 1967 in Columbus, MS.

She devoted her life to Christ at a young age and was a member of United Christ Baptist Church.  She was a graduate of Lee High School Class of 1985. Geraldine also graduated from Mary Holmes College with a Cosmetology Degree.  She was a substitute teacher at New Hope High School.  She dedicated her entire life to caring for her beloved mother.

Geraldine departed this life on April 7, 2023 in Douglasville, GA.  She was preceded in death by her dearest uncles, Dan H. Griffin and Marvin Griffin and also her dearest aunt, Mary Louise Griffin-Coley.

Geraldine leaves to mourn her passing and celebrate her homegoing: her mother, Marion Griffin; her father, Tyrome Holloman; two daughters, Andrea and Arianna Griffin; an honorary son/grandson, Jherrion Griffian; and another grandson, Christian Richey; a beloved brother, Andre Griffin; and a host of other brothers and sisters; She also leaves behind an honorary daughter, Lucketa Griffin, a beloved God-sister, Regina Washington; niece, Amira Griffin along with a host of other nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
