Ms. Gussie Ann Poster was born December 25, 1932, in Lowndes County, State of MS to the late Mary Jane Childs and Gentle Sharp.

Gussie departed this life peacefully on January 23, 2023, at her home in Artesia, MS.  She is preceded in death along with her parents by her husband: Curly Poster, son: George Poster; two brothers: Sammie Sharp, Sr. and Eddie Sam Rogers, Sr., granddaughter: Angelia James Clark, and her sister-in-law Mary.

Gussie's memories will forever be cherished by many including; her son: Willie (Annie) Poster of Artesia, MS; her brothers: James (Emma) Rogers and J.P. (Cornelia) Givens, both of Artesia, MS; her sister-in-law: Lillie Rogers of Artesia, MS; a special niece: Terri Lee (Leroy) Peoples of Artesia, MS; a special cousin: Annie Pearl Crawford, of Artesia, MS; 15 Grandchildren, and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friend.
