Obituary

Henry Oneal Randle was born December 9, 1970 to Mr. Henry Lee and Mary Ann Randle. He was baptized into Christ in 1982 and worshiped at the South Matubba Street Church of Christ.   Henry was born and raised in Aberdeen, MS.

He attended the Aberdeen school system and in high school he excelled on the basketball court. He was a graduating member of the Class of 1989. After graduation, he attended Mary Holmes College in West Point, MS where he earned his Associates Degree in 1992. In that same year, his first son, Jajuan Ontre' Randle was born. He later attended Mississippi State University where he received his Bachelor of Science in 2009.   Henry married on December 23, 1996 in Akron, OH to Yolanda Bibbs of Crawford, MS and to this union four children were born: Isaiah, Joshua, Tyler, and Taylor Randle.

Henry began his career in service in 1997 beginning with the Aberdeen Police Department. In 2001, he joined the U.S. Army National Guard 223rd Engineer Battalion. He served for 20 years reaching his rank of Sergeant First Class in 2021. In 2008, Henry became the Chief of Police for the city of Aberdeen, MS, holding this position until his passing. He served his city in leadership with great passion. He was a selfless individual who believed in his community and help those when in need. He was always known for putting others before himself.

Chief Henry O. Randle departed this life on Sunday, May 16, 2021 in Tupelo, MS. He is preceded in death by his grand- parents: Morgan and Carrie Miller and Henry and Julia Randle; his uncles, Alphonso Miller; his aunts, Jessie Clay, Bessie Miller, Amy Hunter, and Geneva Mayweather.

Chief Henry O. Randle's memories will forever be cherished by his children: Jajuan Randle of Heidelburg, MS, Isaiah Randle, Joshua Randle, Tyler, and Taylor Randle all of Tupelo, MS; his parents, Henry Lee and Mary Ann Randle of Aberdeen, MS; his sisters, Brenda McCullough, Herlener (Ben) Morton, Marriah (Michael) Walker all of Aberdeen, MS, and Tujuana (Edsel) Hampton of Amory, MS; his brothers, Oleathia (Lucinda) Randle and Orlando (Ilana) Randle both of Aberdeen, MS; his grandchildren,  Journee Randle of Heidelburg, MS and A'sanii Randle of Tupelo, MS; and a host of uncle, aunts, nieces, nephews, fellow officers of service, other relatives, and friends.

He also leaves to cherish his memories his ex-wife, Yolanda Randle, who was by side til his passing.
