Jamerrious was born on June 2, 2006, in Columbus, MS to Laquanda McCoy and the late Timothy Dewayne Gillespie. He was a bright and lively young man who touched the lives of many with his warm heart and kind spirit.

A proud student of New Hope High School, Jamerrious was known for his vibrant personality and zest for life. His favorite colors were red and black, reflecting his bold and energetic nature. Jamerrious loved basketball and looked up to LeBron James as his favorite sports figure, inspiring him with his dedication and talent on the court.

He enjoyed spending quality time with his special nephew, Jamori; and his cousins Jacquise, Demarion, and Dustin Wells. He loved sharing laughs and creating memories that will be cherished forever. Jamerrious also had a talent for art, woodworking, and carpentry, often expressing his creativity through his work.
