Jeremy Jermaine Finch was born November 5, 1983 in Columbus, MS to Bobby Baker and Freddie Jean Finch.

Fondest memories of Jeremy include his love of writing poetry and his love for his family and friends, especially his sons Jeremiah and Jaylin. Jeremy enjoyed visiting Shiloh Full Gospel M.B. Church with his aunt Carlene Porter who was a second mother to him. Jeremy cherished his bond with his cousin, Nicole "Nikki" Baker-Nance, and her husband, Levert "Fox" Nance, whom he affectionately called brother and sister. Jeremy attended Columbus Municipal School District and worked various positions in general labor and landscaping.

Jeremy found eternal rest in God on September 3, 2023. Jeremy was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Sallie B. Porter and Clara Baker and grandfathers, Freddie Finch and Roosevelt Baker.

Jeremy will be remembered by his parents, Bobby Baker and Freddie Jean Finch; his sons Jeremiah Cotton and Jaylin Moore; his sisters, Ebony Finch, Tyeshia (Eddie) Young, Alleyah Latham, Zaria Latham and Kennedi Baker; and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
