Obituary

Jerry Jerome Conner was born July 13, 1957, in Columbus, MS to Charles Smith and Daisy Nell Conner Smith. "Goose" as he was known affectionately known, confessed Christ at an early age at Northside Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. James Greenlaw and later became of Faith Harvest Church.

He graduated from S.D. Lee High School in 1977 and attended Mary Holmes, Jackson State University, and earned a B.S. degree in fashion from Dallas, TX.

Jerry was a lover of people and life. He enjoyed dancing and listening to gospel music. He loved to hear Lee Williams and the Spiritual QC's. His favorite song was "I've learned to lean on Jesus."

Jerry departed this life on October 11, 2022 in Columbus, MS. He is preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Charles.
