Her departure leaves a void in the hearts of many, but her remarkable life, which began on March 31, 1933, in Columbus, MS, as the cherished daughter of the late Addison and Viola Washington, will forever be celebrated as a testament to a life well-lived in dedication to God, family, and selfless service.
From a tender age, Jessie's spirit of devotion was evident. At just 10 years old, she confessed her hope in Christ and became a faithful, lifelong member of Prairie Hill M.B. Church.
