Johnnie B. Williams was born March 5, 1950, in Noxubee County to the late OC and Viola Williams.

Johnnie departed this life on Tuesday, September 5, 2023.

Johnnie was a member the Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church. Johnnie received his high school diploma from BF Liddell High School in Macon, MS. Johnnie worked at Barge Lumber Company in Macon, MS until his health begin to fail.

Johnnie was preceded in death by his parents, OC and Viola Williams, four brothers Charlie, Luvester, Otis, and LC Williams and one sister, Mary Sue Sealy.

Johnnie leaves to cherish his memories: one daughter, Dina Griffin; three grandchildren, Jasmine Martin and Destiny and Elijah Vickerie; two great- grandchildren, Nylah and Asaad; five sisters, Melissa Dennis and Alma Cotton (Macon, MS), Annie (Bennie) Owens (Conway, SC), Ernestine Johnson (Cleveland, OH), and Doris (Gary) McRae and Mildred (Ricky) Lawson (Hampton, VA); three brothers, Bobby (Erma) Williams (Cleveland, OH), Albert (Velma) and James Williams (Macon, MS); a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
