Kay Lean Henley was born on December 8,1976 to James Arthur "Jimbo" and Thelma "Lett" Henley. She accepted Christ at an early age under the leadership of the late Reverend Doctor Bernice Clausell at Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in Tallahassee, Florida. She was a graduate of Leon High School Class of 1994. She was a volunteer worker as a past member of the International Masons and Order of the Eastern Stars Daughters of Adah Chapter #426, She was most recently employed as a Home Health Care provider in Columbus, Mississippi.

She was preceded in death by both parents and her oldest sister Stephanie Jackson. She leaves to cherish her memories; her son Glenn Tensley,
her daughter Jameshia Henley, her sister Valerie Coleman, and her aunt Laura Wells all of Tallahassee, Florida. She also leaves a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and friends.
