LaChondria Vetina Rogers Gholson was born in Columbus, MS on July 15, 1972 to Tommy Rogers and the late Alberta Wilson Rogers. She confessed hope in Christ at an early age and was a member of Northside M.B. Church in Columbus, MS until her passing.

She attended the Columbus City Schools and graduated from S.D. Lee High School in 1990. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice from Mississippi Valley State University in 1995. She was also employed by MS Regional Housing Authority Region IV and was a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Alberta Wilson; grand- parents, Wade Wilson, Sr. and Mary Brown; grandparents, John and Louelle Rogers; five uncles and three aunts.

She departed this life on July 24, 2022 in Steens, MS.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories: her husband, Eric Gholson of Steens, MS; her father, Tommy Rogers of Columbus, MS; two sisters, Patricia (Howard) Burey of Chicago, IL and Falisa (Allen) Wilburn of Crawford, MS; a host of aunts and uncles, Will (Annie) Rogers, John (Lynette) Rogers, Jr. all of Crawford, MS, Jeanette Rogers of Park Forest, IL, Julia Brown of Marietta, GA, Hassie Brown, Shirley Wilson and Lawrence (Arnell) Wilson all of Columbus, MS; two God-sisters, Kendra (Carlos) Medlock of Killeen, TX and Alexia Williams of Columbus, MS; father and mother-in-law, James and Earnestine Gholston of Columbus, MS; James Gholson and Ashley R. Gholson; she also leaves to cherish a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends that will miss her dearly, Keesha Bankhead, Rhonda Sanders, Frida W. Smith, Karrletta Harris.
