Seven generations and eighty-three marvelous years we have shared with Laura Louise Fenton, who was born April 13, 1940, to her proud and loving parents, the late Holland Lee Williams, Sr and Mary Frances Williams.  Laura accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior, at an early age at St. John's Baptist Church.  She was the youngest of six siblings.

Laura migrated to Boston, MA where she lived 54 years, to pursue a career in Retail Management at Jordan Marsh in which she retired after 35 years.  She later pursued a second career as a Healthcare Provider.  Laura was educated at Motley High School.

Laura's Transition from the earthly life to heavenly life on August 27, 2023.  She was proceeded in death by her parents, her husbands, L.C. Fenton, Jr and Robert Johnson, her sister Mary Jane Pulliam, her brothers: Willie L. Smith, Roosevelt Gordon, Holland L. Williams, Jr., and Walter L. Williams, Sr.

Laura's memories will forever be cherished by her children: Roosevelt Boston (Charlene Stephenson) of Charleston, SC and Frances Diane (Lee) Fenton Jackson of Olympia, WA, seven grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and host of other nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Laura was excited about the Lord, her God. She would talk about the Grace of God and the goodness of Jesus.  She loved gospel music, especially Lee Williams.
