Mr. Lawyer Howlett, Jr. was born February 23, 1955 to the late Lawyer Sr and Girtha Howlett. He departed this life on August 9, 2025 at UMMC hospital in Jackson, MS.

Mr. Lawyer confessed hope in Christ at an early age and joined St. Peters Methodist Church in Shuqualak, MS.

Mr. Lawyer was a very loving, caring dependable and family oriented person. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and cooking until his health declined.

Mr. Lawlyer was preceded in death by his parents and five brothers, Lemar Howlett, Leon Howlett, Willie Howlett, Tommie Howlett and James Howlett.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories: three daughters, Tameisha Bryant of Altanta, GA, Sinthia Stewart of New Jersey and Bernadette Robertson of Jackson, MS; two sons, Deon Bryant of Atlanta, GA and Nathaniel McKeithan of Shuqualak, MS; two sisters, Willie Mae Clark of Haines City, FL and Peggy Burrage of Shuqaulak, MS; one brother, Terry Howlett of Shuqualak, MS; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; a special niece, Ashley Burrage; a special friend, Wendy Robinson; and a host of nieces, nephew, other relatives and friends.
