Malcolm Lomax passed away on February 10, 2023, at the age of 49. He was born on July 27, 1973, to Mrs. Wanda Lomax Brown and late John Lewis Smart Jr.
Malcolm was baptized at Prairie Hill MB Church. He attended Noxubee County High School, where he played football, and later graduated from East Mississippi Community College. He then went on to begin his career in Industrial.
Malcolm is preceded in death by his grandmother, Mrs. Lillie Lomax Nash, and grandfathers, Mr. John Lewis Smart Sr and Mr. Fred Nash.
Malcolm is survived by his loving wife, Dequitta Hamlin Lomax; father, Andrew Brown; his three sons, Malcolm Lomax II, Davon Lomax, and Jaylen Braker; three daughters, Alekia Hayden, Mya Brooks and Ayonna Dismuke; grandmothers, Mrs. Ella Lou Smart and Mrs. Mary Ida Harris; four sisters, Andrea Brown, Dalvia Brown, Monica Clemons and Termekia Buchanan; five brothers, Rico Harris, Lonnie Brooks, Kevin Lucious, John (LaToya) Smart III, and Nekendric Smart; special friends, Daniel Butler, Tony Smith, Patrick Edmonds, Leroy Bracey, Tonya Brooks, and Lewis Coleman and a host of nieces, nephews, aunties, uncles, and dear friends.
