Obituary

Murry "M.D." Davis Binion was born August 5, 1946 to the union of Mr. Sam Binion and Mrs. Hassie Thompkin Binion of McLeod, MS.

To some he was known as Murry, but to all that grew up with him in Macon, he was known as MD.

M.D. loved fishing, hunting, basketball known as shooting hoops, shooting marbles and learning to play guitar.

M.D. confessed his faith in God at an early age and joined New Zion Baptist Church of Macon, MS.

M.D. attended Hunters Industrial School in McLeod, MS and continued his education at Liddell Junior High in Macon, MS. He later moved to Chicago, IL, where he was employed at Schulge and Busch Biscuit Company. M.D. met and married the love of his life, Christine Jenkins Binion. Together, they are proud parents of four children: Irene, David, Murry and Bianca.

M.D. was preceded in death by his parents, twelve siblings; ten brothers and two sisters.

M.D. leaves to cherish his memories: a loving wife, Mrs. Christine Jenkins Binion of Macon, MS; two daughters, Irene (Gerald) Jackson of Arforville, WI, Bianca Binion of Bay Springs, MS, two sons, David (Mia) Binion of Chicago, IL, and Murry Taylor of North Carolina; two sisters-in-law, Mrs. Sallie Earl Binion of Macon, MS, and Lois (Charles) May of Chicago, IL; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and neighbors.
