Obituary

Nancy Lynn Brooks-Beck was born January 19, 1950 to Will Brooks, Jr and Lillie Ruth Webb Brooks. She confessed her life to Christ at an early age at Miller's Chapel Baptist Church.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Willie Beck, a daughter, Lashekia L. Beck and a brother, Will Brooks, III.

Nancy worked at Jr Food Mart and later New Mart where she retired doing what she loved. She loved cooking and feeding people. She continued her passion for cooking and feeding people after her retirement.

Nancy is survived by her 3 loving children, Davine (Jameshia) Beck, Michael (Yolanda) Beck and Miyoushi Beck all of Macon, MS, 10 grandchildren, Tylandis, Darquavious, Kamadre, Quindarious (Jasmine), Elsha Michael, Devonte, Lacey, Yaz' Miunna, Davinya and Kamora, 2 great-grandchildren, Kasen and Kaylee, 3 sisters, Lula Bullard, Barbara (George) Green both of Elgin, IL, and Annie Brooks of Naperville, IL, 2 brothers, Clyde and Douglas Brooks both of Macon, MS; special sister-in-law, Francis Wallace; 4 Goddaughters, Cynthia, Quitesha, Shatoya (Equal) and Ariana, a special bonus son, Carlos Hill who she loved as her own. Nancy also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
