Obituary

Nettie Lee Griffin was born in Morgan County to the parents of Birlie Woods and Minnie Lee Woods on February 1, 1958.

At an early age, she devoted her life to Christ. She was a member of Breaking and Destroying Chains Restoration Ministries. Nettie attended Todd High School in Vernon, Alabama.

She departed on February 23, 2024 in Columbus, MS. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Dan Griffin Jr., her daughter, Latisha Lagrone, her brother, Willie Woods and a host of other relatives.

Nettie leaves to mourn her passing: her daughter, Lucketa Griffin, two sons, Dan Griffin III and DeAndre Griffin, a daughter-in-law, Latonia Griffin, five grandsons, Antonio Griffin, Quinterius Griffin, Terrance Deloach Jr., Jordan Griffin and DeAndre Griffin Jr., one granddaughter, DeAsia Hollis, one great grandson, Josiah Griffin, two sisters, Dessie Harper and Tabitha Rozzell along with a host of additional family and friends.
