She is preceded in death by: one son, Thomas E. Harris, Jr.; two brothers, James & Charles McClanahan; and her parents, Ivery May Currie and James M. McClanahan.

Patricia is survived by: her daughter, Tara S. McClanahan; husband, David McBride, Jr.; sisters, Mary E. Jackson, Juanita McClanahan, Regina McClanahan; one brother, Tracey Brooks; grandsons, Toma McClanahan and Tre'Veon Jackson; nieces, Stephanie Woodall, Gwendolyn Sesco, Ivery McClanahan, and Sabriena McClanahan; nephews, Christopher Jackson and James Tony Collins; and a host of great nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
