Obituary

Quinshawn Dewayne Lucious was born September 17, 1998, in Columbus, Mississippi. He was granted his angel wings on July 9, 2021. His final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that Quinshawn had touched in some way throughout his short yet very memorable life.

He attended West Lowndes High School in Columbus, MS, and continued his education at Coahoma Community College in Clarksdale, MS, where he received a full scholarship to play football.

His life would seem too short to many, but those touched by him understood that the quality of his existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. His gentle smile and corny jokes brought so much joy to the family and his friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ike Carter, and Diane Lucious; brother, DeAnthony Harkins Jr. and nephew, Corey Lane, Jr. (CJ)

Quinshawn is survived by his biological parents, Anthony Harkins (Angela Willis) of Artesia, MS, and Irish Lucious (Travis Robinson ) and loving guardians, Alfred and Katrina Hill, whom he lived with until death; sisters and brothers and their spouses, Dovoris Williams (Pamela Williams) Timothy Young (Andrea Young). Chandria Harris (Samuel Harris), Deniusha Lane ( Corey Lane), Travion Lucious, Sammie Harris Jr., Tykia Harris, TavionShawn Lucious, Nyasia Harkins, Anquarious Harkins, Ankeria Harkins, Jendayia Harkins, Antaja Harkins, and Anquarious Harkins; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
