Reejeanny Neely, who departed this life on July 13, 2025, at St. Dominic's Hospital in Jackson, Mississippi was born on June 19, 1976 in Macon, Mississippi. Reejeanny was the cherished daughter of Leon Snell and Annie Williams.
Reejeanny accepted Christ at an early age at Brownridge M.B. Church, where her faith became a guiding light throughout her life. She resided in Artesia, where she cultivated a warm and welcoming home filled with love and creativity. Reejeanny had a remarkable talent for design and decoratory shopping, always finding ways to beautify her surroundings and bring joy to those around her. Her passion for doing hair was not just a skill but a true art form, allowing her to connect with others and uplift their spirits.
Family was the cornerstone of Reejeanny's life. She believed in the power of togetherness and made it a priority to create lasting memories with her loved ones. Her generous heart and giving nature were evident in everything she did, as she was always ready to lend a helping hand or offer support to those in need.
Reejeanny dedicated her professional life to Sanderson Plumbing, where she worked as an assembly line operator. Her strong work ethic and commitment to excellence were admired by her colleagues and made a lasting impact on her workplace.
Reejeanny is preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Jessica A. Snell; her grandparents: Laura Ree Williams and Bob Williams,and Rena and Lula Dell Snell.
Reejeanny leaves behind a legacy of love, to her husband, Jessie Terry; her step-daughters, Kaniyah and Megan Terry; her step-son, Jessie Terry, Jr.; her siblings, Rochelle Williams, Marco Henry, John Neal, Johnny (Rosie) Givens, Lavorn (Judy) Williams, Deon Baker, Jermaine Snell, Helen Jones, Lorey (Corle) Salter, Nicole Williams, Renee Tyler, Keisha Randle, Senitra (Vincent) Clark-Jackson, Stephanie (Tommy) Hendrix, Angie (Sylvester) Craddieth, Anthony Williams.
She also leaves to cherish a special sister/friend, Patricia (Bryant) Gatewood, Delois (Johnnie B.) Lewis, and Timothy Moore; close cousins: Amy Hill-Woods, Kate Bester, Brittany and Shardae Lewis; brothers-in-law, Joe Allen Terry and Willie Terry; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
