Robert Earl Patmon entered his earthly life on April 26, 1960, in Columbus, MS to Lewis Patmon, Sr. and Annie Patmon. He was baptized at a young age at Brick M.B Church until transition of his membership to St. Matthews M.B. Church.

He attended the Columbus City Schools and graduated from Caldwell High School in 1978.  Robert enrolled in Jackson State University after high school and continued his studies at Mississippi State University earning his Bachelor's Degree. Robert began his employment with a local housing authority. He would later relocate to Atlanta, GA but continue as an office clerk in the same career. Robert enjoyed reading and shopping in his spare time.

Robert departed this life on Sunday, February 11, 2024, in Atlanta, GA. He is preceded in death by his parents; siblings: Lewis Patmon, Jr., Sam Patmon, Helen Patmon-Morgan, Leola Patmon-Saffore, and Elbert Patmon.

Robert's memories will forever be cherished by his siblings: Fannie Patmon, Hal (Diane) Patmon, Sr., and Virgie Patmon all of Columbus, MS; one uncle, Virgie Wells of Macon, MS; a special friend and brother, Jerry Deloach of Atlanta, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
