Ronald was born on October 3, 1968, to the late Mr. Willie and Mrs. Mary Alice Tate in Columbus, MS.

Ronald accepted Christ at an early age and joined Brick M.B. Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents; grandfather, Simon Hairston; brothers, Willie Tate,  Jr., Johnny Will Tate, Ollie Earl Tate, and Simon Tate; 1 nephew, Antonio Tate; sister, Jewel Ann Barry and 1 sister-in-law, Sherietta Jackson.

Ronald leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife, Murray Bowen Tate, of Columbus, MS; his daughter, Kierra Tate Moore (Adam) of Marietta, GA; two grandchildren, Adam Moore, Jr. and Aria Moore of Atlanta, GA; four sister, Geraldine Tate, Monica Tate, Shirley (Don) Hairston all of Columbus, MS, Kimberly Tate of Hampton, GA; three brothers, Larry (Loretta) Tate of Columbus, MS, Charles (Renee) Armstrong of Denver, CO and Pierre (Edna) Hairston of Steens, MS; one aunt, Grace Mozee of Jackson, MS; his Godfather, Mr. Frank Griffin; Goddaughters, Ashanti Tate and Melissa Reliford; father-in-law, James (Dorothy) Oliver of Holly Springs, MS; step-children, Sherman Bowen, IRA, Jr. Sherrell, Maurice, Shemeker, Melissa, Kristoffer, Alisia Reliford all of Columbus, MS; six brothers-in-law, Kevin, Calvin Oliver of Holly Springs, MS, James, Kennedy and Larry Bowen of Ashland, MS, Sherman Oliver of Jackson, MS; seven sisters-in-law, May, Janice Tate of Columbus, MS, Dwain Ford, Brenda Payne, Shreda Jefferies of Holly Springs, MS; Ceitha Whitmore, Contita Bowen of Memphis, TN; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
