Rosemary Fowler was born on May 26,1938 to the late William Rice Sr. and Minnie Stewart Rice in Noxubee County.
Rosemary confessed in Christ at an early age and attended school in Noxubee County. She lived in the Baptist Hill Community for over 60 years.
Rosemary was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Earnest Fowler, Sr., a daughter, Gloria Fowler, and siblings, Lindburg Lowery, William Rice, Bennie Earl Rice, Kansadie Spates and Carol Mae Williams.
She leaves to cherish her loving memories: husband, Johnny B Jones; five children, Martha (Cleo) Griffin of Elgin, IL, Maggie (Mike Henderson) Shelton of Columbus, MS, Earnest (Jeanette) Fowler, Jr. of Meridian, MS, Perry (Delorise) Fowler of Elgin, IL and Jerry (Kenya) Fowler of Oklahoma City; a Goddaughter, Barbara Ann (Mike) Wilson of Brooksville, MS. Rosemary also help raised two grandchildren, Erica and Antonia Fowler both of Macon, MS; siblings, Flora Williams, Maggie Stewart and Edward Rice all of Elgin, IL, Ethel Williams of NE, and Lucille Purdiman of Chicago, IL; sister-in-law, Mary Lou Rice; 12 grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
