Rosie L. Harris affectionally known as Meggie was born July 17, 1943 in Columbus, MS to LC Webb and Estella Harrison.  She gave her life to Christ and was faithful until death. She departed this life on August 27, 2024 at Baptist Memorial Hospital-GT, Columbus, MS.

She is preceded in death by her parents, one sister Elnora Leake, two brothers Alphonso Harrison, and Charles Jenkins.

She leaves to cherish her memories: her children, Juanita (Robert) Lloyds of Mansfield Ohio, Evette Harrison of Lithonia, GA, Julia Harrison of Columbus, MS, Bennie Harris of Columbus, MS, Rosie Harris of Lithonia GA, Carl Harrison of Decatur, GA, Susie (Gregory) Harper  of Stonecrest, GA, Shancee Harrison of Stone Mountain, GA, Cedric Harrison of Lithonia, GA,  Vincent (Temeka) Harrison of Stone Mountain, GA; siblings, Annie D Harrison of  Columbus, MS, Osie Harrison Columbus, MS, George Harrison of Pontiac, MI, Douglas Harrison Columbus, MS, Tommie (Jackie) Harrison Columbus, MS, Lucious Harrison Columbus, MS, Arthur Harrison Columbus, MS;  two special nieces, Amey Edwards and Lori Edwards; special nephew, Douglas Thompson; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.  She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
