U.S. Army Specialist Shad K. Reese, Jr was born September 13, 1998 and departed this life on Monday, November 1. 2021.

Shad made Jesus Christ the Lord of his life at an early age and join Jesus in Charge Church of Macon, MS.

Shad graduated from Noxubee County High School in 2017. After graduation he enlisted in the U.S. Army where he served as a Mechanic. He was currently employed with Cooper Tires & Rubber in Tupelo, MS.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Johnnie M. Beck and Bertha L Roby Foote and brother, Devin Montgomery.

Specialists Reese is survived by his wife, Alexa Nance-Reese of Una, MS; parents, Will and Rosie Foote, III of Macon, MS; biological parents, Temekia Cooks and Shad K. Reese, Sr. of  Pascagoula, MS; nine brothers, Kendrick (Loanesha) Barber of Tupelo, MS, Sernardra Foote, Carter Foote Cambryn Pulley and Ty'Kie Pulley all of Macon, MS, Phillip Montgomery of Columbus, MS, Chad Johnson, Kyle Johnson of Gautier, MS and Ryan Steward of Pascagoula, MS; eight sisters, Shunterica Wayne of Houston, TX, Shanice Walker of Birmingham, AL, Bryana Lambert, Debbie Lambert, Nikeria Lockett and Zakeria Lockett all of Horne Lake, MS,  Constance Reese of Natchez, MS and Clear Steward of Pascagoula, MS;  a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, family and friends.
