Shirley Jean Jones born on August 15, 1961 to McCune Davis, Sr. and Mary Frances Davis in Prairie Point, MS.

Shirley accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age where she joined Christian Love M.B. Church. She was baptized under the leadership of Rev. Earnest B. Tate. Shirley was employed for several years with Johnston Tombigbee Furniture Company.

Shirley departed this life on October 28, 2023, in Aberdeen, MS. She is preceded in death by: her husband, Archie Jones; her parents; her siblings: Curtis Davis, James Hill, Barbara Sanders, Randy Harris, Lodell Tillman, Robert E. Davis, Johnny Davis, and Bobby C. Davis.

Shirley leaves to cherish her memories: her children: Archie Jones, Jr., Terry Jones, Prentiss (Catina) Jones, Latasha Jones, and Raven Jones; her siblings: Johnny Harris, Walker Lee Davis, Rita Mae Bush, Albert D. Davis, Albert Lee Davis, Betty Brewer, McCune Davis, Jr., Robert Lee Davis, Curtis (Stephanie) Williams, Glenda Faye (Johnny) Grace, Linda Faye Grissom, Dora Jones, Johnny (Melba) Harris, Sylvester Thomas and Bobby C. Stewart; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchildren; a special niece, DaWanda Bush; a special daughter, LaKevia Isaac; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives.
