Tamara Varshelle Murray was born October 27, 1987 to Linda Murray Brewer and William McGowan in Columbus, MS.

Tamara was a bouncing baby girl from the time she was born. She was given the Nickname "Tia" from her cousins, whom loved her dearly. Tamara loved spending time with her children and her family. Her favorite hobbies were playing cards and playing bingo. Tamara was the life of the party. She had an infectious smile and a joyful personality. To know her, was to love her. She was known as "Your Favorite Insurance Lady".

Tamara was preceded in death by her adopted father, Aaron Brewer; grandmother, Izola Brewer; great-grandmother, Jennie Lou McClinton; sister, Michelle Brewer and her cousin, Cyntana Murray.

She leaves to cherish her memories: her children, Jalen Hollis, Cynia Murray (Greg Temple), Eyden Murray and Kamryn Murray; her parents, Linda Murray Brewer and William McGowan; brothers, Curry (Jennifer) Johnson, Brandon (Kim) Jennings; sisters, Lashandra Murray, Britny Porter, Evonda Hollis, Nanette Pratt and Sandra McGregory; grandmother, Peggy Thompson, special friend, Keahnte Mitchell; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
