Thomas Morgan Sr. was born July 15, 1949, in Columbus, MS to the late Bennie Will and Lizzie B (Legrone) Morgan.
He confessed hope in Christ at an early age.
His hobbies include traveling, gardening, and fellowshipping with family and friends.
He attended R.E. Hunt High School in Columbus, MS. He was employed with the Columbus Municipal School District for 35 years in the maintenance department, then retiring in 2005.
On December 7, 1985, he and Lula Fitzpatrick Morgan married in holy matrimony, and were later blessed with one child,
Thomas Lee Morgan Jr. Thomas Jr. also have two older siblings Falisha Lang and Terry Brown.
In March of 2003 they joined Reform Temple Church of God in Christ in Reform, AL under the leadership of Supt. J.L. Hutton.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Bennie Morgan Jr., William Morgan and Henry Morgan; sisters, Wilma Morgan, Gracie Smith, Mary Fortt, Essie Lunceford, Charlie-Grace Morgan, Lorene Williams and Irene King and Chars Ruth Virgil,
He leaves to cherish his sweet memories: loving and devoted wife of 38 years, Lula Fitzpatrick Morgan; mother-in-law, Queen Fitzpatrick of Samson, AL; children, Terry Brown of Davenport, IA, Thomas Lee Morgan Jr. of Columbus, MS and Falisha Lang of Tuscaloosa, AL; six grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; special God-daughter, Raelyn Malone; he also leaves behind his siblings, Mattie Jordan of Columbus, MS, James (Robin) Morgan of Columbus, MS, Billy (Linda) Morgan of Tuscaloosa, AL, Nelson (Mary) Fitzpatrick of Covington, GA, Dorothy (Gregory) Eccholes and Mary (James) Grice all of Cedar Bluff, MS; sister-in-law, Annie Morgan of Columbus, MS, and Sara Morgan of Davenport Iowa; brother-in-law, Williams Virgil of Ellenwood, Georgia; along with a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
