Brother Tommy C. Walters was born on July 10th, 1956, to Sister Idella Walters Hurt in Crawford, Mississippi. He was reared by his grandmother Mrs. Peach Ella Walters. He departed this life on Wednesday, October 11, 2023.

He confessed hope in Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at an early age, where he joined and fellowshipped at Prairie Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Columbus, Mississippi. Brother Tommy C. was a diesel mechanic for over thirty years.

He is preceded in death by his mother Mrs. Idella Walters Hurt, brother Jimmy C Fulton, his grandmother Sister Peach Ella Walters, his grandfather Brother Tom Walters, and his great uncle Brother Willie Brooks.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife Sister Irene G. Walters. Four children; Tatanisha Turner of Raleigh, North Carolina, Velma Givens (Monterrio) Warren of Starkville, Mississippi, Tommy (April) Walters of Crawford, Mississippi, and ShaQuila K. Walters of Crawford, Mississippi seven grandchildren; Quavon C. Givens, De'Quan K. Givens, Talanisha Jefferson, Jhourdan K. Walters, Jalen Sykes, Anaya K. Walters, and Micah C. Warren; two great-grandchildren; Mariah L. Givens and De'Karri K. Givens. One sister; Sallie (Roosevelt) Vance of West Point Mississippi, god sister Willie Lou (Lewis) Brooks of Columbus, Mississippi, one great aunt Helen Brooks of Starkville, Mississippi, and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, and friends.
