Tonya Michelle Dora Hunter born July 23rd, 1978 in Noxubee County, MS. to Anne Jane Dora Lash. On Feb. 5th, 2024, Jesus called her home.

Tonya attended United Faith Center FGBC Church. She was a student at Columbus High School. She loved taking care of elder's and children. She was a child care giver at Kiddie Korner Daycare. She also took pride and enjoyment in being the eldest sister. She didn't mind helping anyone in need even when she was going through hard times alone herself. No matter what she always told her children & loved ones nothing but the right thing to do. She had a very big heart & was very forgiving no matter the wrong anyone did to her. She was also a very smart and talented person. Her main hobbies were singing, writing poems & books, but there was nothing, besides her children, that she loved more than her music and party lights to go along with it. She will forever live on through her children!

In addition to her parents, she leaves to cherish her memories, six brothers and sisters, Latarica Dora, Cynthia Dora, Wanda Dora, Loni Dora, Kerry Dora, & Tracy Dora; her four children, Kaliah Hunter, Tally Hunter, Katilya Hunter, & Joshua Hunter; and last but surely not least of her worries her only two  dear grandchildren, Mason Jones and Mia Hunter.
