Trovis DeShun Sherrod entered this world on May 11, 1980 to Sammy Williams and Sinter Sherrod in Columbus, MS. He attended Mitchell Elementary and completed his high school education at Vernon High School in 1999. Trovis confessed to Christ at an early age and was baptized at Pilgrim Rest M.B. Church. He had a zeal for his work ethic, he worked for Mcdermott in Lake Charles, LA, the City of Hattiesburg, MS, APAC and Trovis Lawn Service in Columbus, MS

Trovis, known as "Voris", enjoyed life and the people in his life. He enjoyed gathering his family and friends and having a good time showing love wherever he was. He took on the role as a protector.

He departed this life on July 28, 2025 in Columbus, MS.

Voris is preceded in death by his parents.

Voris memories will forever be cherished by his special friend, Echo Rose of Columbus, MS; his stepmother, Virgie Marie Williams of Newnan, GA; his siblings, Jackie (Darrell) McCullough of Newnan, GA, Sayonara Jones of Tampa, FL, Frances Neal Ellis, Deangelo Sherrod (Latanya Bolding) Tawanda (Ronald) Dukes and Micaela Sherrod all of Columbus, MS; his honorary brothers, Daris "Ham" Hayes, Javion Colebrook; his honorary sister, Kaleasha "Princess" Sherrod; two nephews he loved dearly, Zechariah and Jeremiah Sherrod. He also leaves to cherish his memories to many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
