Willie R. Arnold was born in Macon, MS, on February 6, 1961, to the late Willie C. and Lattie B. Arnold of Macon, MS.  He confessed hope in Christ at an early age and joined Mt. Carmel M.B. Church in Macon, MS.

Willie was known for being a hard worker, having retired from Boral Bricks (Brickyard) after more than 20 years.  He was also known for having a kind and friendly personality, fixing anything that was broken, and breaking anything that wasn't.  His children would often times refer to him as "Fix it Willie".  Above all, he loved his children and grandchildren.

Willie R. Arnold, affectionally known as "Bust Down" transitioned peacefully in his home on July 11, 2025, in Macon MS.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie C. and Lattie B. Arnold; grandparents, Rev. Latt and Annie Little, his son, Julius Mason; stepson, O'Bryan Brandy and angel babies, granddaughter, Asante Smith, and grandsons, Tre'Veyon Smith and Cayden Morris.

He leaves to cherish his memories his daughters, Theresa White of Waldorf, MD, Natasha Smith of Shaqualak, MS, Mieshue Phillips of Brooksville, MS, and Shumeeka Pomerlee (Perry) of Macon, MS; his ten grandchildren, Jasmine White, Krystianna Clark, Idris Smith, Karizma Phillips, Eldra Brown, Skylar Clark, Gage Phillips, J'Myris Mason, ShaiCameron Mason, and Katelyn Mason;  five children he loved as his own, Erica Brandy, Sierra Brandy, Ryheem Stewart, Ryquevia Stewart, and Darrione Stewart; 12 step-grandchildren; and one step-great-grandchild, all of whom he loved dearly; one brother, Willie B. Slaughter of Macon, MS, and long-time friend, Tonya Stewart of Macon, MS; and a host of relatives and friends.

Rest in Peace, Willie "Bust Down".  You will be truly missed, but your memory will live on.
