Obituary

Willie George Goulde, Sr. was born on August 17, 1939 in Columbus, MS to Foster Hinton and Effie Goulde Goodwin.

Willie, affectionately known as "Old Boy", "Bingo" and "Russell" accepted Christ as his personal savior at a young age. He was a strong believer in the Lord. He was a faithful member of Mt. Pleasant M.B. Church where he served as a Deacon and a part of the Administration Team under the leadership of Pastor Lee Andrew Sanders. He served faithfully until he became ill and was unable to attend church.

Willie was a devoted husband, dad, son, brother, brother-in-law, granddad, and a true lover of people. He was always smiling with the greeting of "Old Boy" to all he came in contact with. He was a go-getter and a man of many talents. He worked up until he was 82 years old. He was employed at Sqwincher Corporation for over 30 years. The Sqwincher Family was another family that was adopted by our dad. He loved them as much as they loved him.

Mr. Goulde was preceded in death by his father, Foster Hinton; mother, Effie Goodwin, a loving devoted wife of 60 years, Bernice Goulde; one son, Jerry Goulde; one brother, Michael Hinton.
