Mr. Willie James Hill, affectionately known as "Bud/Kool Dude" was born January 31, 1945, in Crawford, MS and called home on January 4, 2025. Mr. Willie was born to Jessie Hill in Lowndes County, MS.

He accepted Christ at an early age and joined Brown Ridge M.B. Church. Willie was employed with Howard Furniture in Starkville, MS and retired from Bryan Foods in West Point, MS after 38 years.  Willie was also a self-employed electrician and HVAC technician.

Willie Hill was preceded in death by his mother, Jessie Hill and brother, Joe Hill.

Willie's memories will forever be cherished by his loving wife of 53 years, Mrs. Verneace Hill; his children, Tracy Hill McBride of Columbus, MS, James (Ninketa) Hill of Crawford, MS , Jessica Hill  of Memphis, TN, Sharron Hill of Crawford, MS and Natasha Hill of Columbus, MS;  five grandchildren,  James Hill, Devin McBride, Desserie McBride, Alicia McBride, and Daveon McBride; sister-in-law, Annie Hill. In addition to his grandchildren, he cherishes in his memories his sons, Daniel, Dylan, Nicholas, and his (Sugar Baby) Taylor Hairston; Adopted grandchild Jadan and his son Jayce Hamilton; nephews,  Joe L. Wilson, William Wilson, Ellis Cooper and nieces, Chassity Fulgham, Patricia Gregory, Angie Cooper and Darlene Cooper. He also leaves a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
